GREEN MOUNTAIN INN, Stowe

Green Mountain Inn offers 104 rooms, suites, apartments, and townhouses across 8 buildings. Accommodations feature Vermont hand-crafted furnishings. Classic Rooms have one or two queen beds, while Classic Suites, located in the Main Inn, include a sitting area overlooking Main Street. Classic Balcony Rooms in the Annex building provide balconies facing the heated outdoor pool. Deluxe Rooms, in the Main Inn, Depot Building, or Club House, offer one king, one queen, or two double beds, plus fireplaces and Jacuzzis. Luxury Rooms, located in the Mill House and Mansfield House, include king beds and fireside Jacuzzis. Mansfield House guests enjoy a common living room and seasonal outdoor fire pit. Apartments feature fully-equipped kitchens. Townhouses provide full use of the Inn's amenities. Select apartments include a double Jacuzzi bath and Foosball table. The Starr and National Apartments in Mansfield House have a kitchen, a double Jacuzzi bath, board games and Foosball table. The Goat and Liftline Apartments in Mansfield House also include a kitchen and electric fireplace. The Two Bedroom Townhouse features a king bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the guest bedroom. The Three Bedroom Townhouse offers a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed and two twin beds in the guest bedrooms, plus a ping-pong table. The Four Bedroom Townhouse includes a king bed in the master suite, a queen bed and two twin beds in the guest bedrooms, plus a private suite with trundle bed.

The Green Mountain Inn has two restaurants. The Whip Bar & Grill serves dinner in a casual atmosphere with Vermont products and local ingredients. The menu includes fresh breads and Sac de Bon Bon dessert. 18 Main, located in the Main Inn, serves breakfast and is available for private events. The restaurant features a fireplace, antique dumbwaiter, granite bar, wood floors, and Walton Blodgett watercolor landscape paintings. A traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner are offered. The Whip Bar features local and New England craft beers, spirits, and Vermont ciders. To-go orders can be placed at the Green Room Window located at the rear entrance of the Main Inn. The Matterhorn and Rimrocks provide weekly entertainment.

Guests have access to a year-round heated outdoor pool and two Jacuzzis, a health club, and outdoor fire pits. Village Massage offers massage treatments. Stowe Mountain Resort is nearby for skiing, plus there are options for snowmobiling, dog sledding, golfing, hiking, paddling, biking, and brewery tours. The Spruce Peak Center includes the Adventure Center, a recreation space for children featuring the Stowe Mountain Resort children's ski school. The Inn provides complimentary use of a computer in the Main Inn lobby. The fitness center is open daily, and locker rooms are available. The Rec Path is a 5.5-mile greenway groomed for cross-country skiing. There is also an ice hockey rink, art galleries, and shops in Stowe Village.

The Inn is near shops and restaurants, and offers access to a 5.5-mile recreation path. Stowe's two gondola-connected mountains have lift service. A complimentary shuttle service to and from the ski area operates mid-December to late March.
